Work Begins on Greenfield House

After two years on the drawing boards, we are thrilled to announce that construction is underway on the Greenfield House. Navigating the logistics of construction at this remote location will be an ongoing challenge, but we are prepared to tackle it head-on. Working with a modest budget, we will utilize cost-effective construction methods, recognizing the need for adaptability. Due to the site's challenging access during the rainy season, construction will be seasonal. The initial task of clearing the thick clay topsoil to establish a workable site commenced in May. Excavation followed, with structural footings, foundation walls, subsurface drainage, and compacted fill wrapping up this week in preparation for the slab on grade. Our dedicated team has hit the ground running and is fully engaged in this exciting project. Stay tuned for further updates as we progress towards bringing this project to life.
